Oatmeal/Rolled Oats Protein Bars Recipe
Trying my hand at making my own protein bars tonight. They’re in the fridge setting at the moment so fingers crossed! I got the original recipe from here, though I’ve changed it a bit to suit what I have and what I eat 🙂
Here’s my recipe:
Number of Servings: 8
3 cups Rolled Oats (the original recipe was oatmeal but I don’t have a food processor so i’ve just left the oats whole)
3 scoops Protein Powder (I used Musashi Low Carb in Chocolate)
1 small teaspoon of Stevia
0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup of natural peanut butter (Mine is Planet Organic brand)
1 cup almond milk
Combine all ingredients – it will take a few minutes of stirring to get everything mixed.
Spread mix into lined pan and refrigerate overnight.
I’ll let you know how they work out… surely they can’t be too bad!
