Greek Yoghurt’s Dark Side – Modern Farmer
This was an article I came across a few weeks ago and thought it may be worth a repost. Super interesting.
I think we often get caught up in the pursuit of perfect foods and tend to skip over the potential environmental effects of food manufacturing. While the by-products of Greek yoghurt have been put to a little bit of use in power generation and recycled into other food products, it still leaves a worrying trail of waste in its path from origin to supermarket.
